Isabel R. Salazar, wife of Nicolas Salazar. Chabelita, as she was well known to her friends, was a very active member of St. Martin's Catholic Church. One could always depend on her to lead the Rosary service whenever a member of the Catholic church had passed on. In her younger years, she provided room and board for many a college student that couldn't afford to live at the local college dormitories. She was a wonderful cook and made the most delicious tamales.
