Including: Document - $4600. per year salary to work for the Office of Petroleum Coordinator for National Defense Document - Appointment increased for "duration of war." Document: Letter June 12, 1942, accepting position with statement, "Although the salary stated in this letter is $1000 less per annum than was originally states, I accept this appointment in the spirit that we serve wherever possible, to the best effect of the war effort, with monetary returns not being considered."
