Kaye Presley was the copy editor of the Texas A&I University (now Texas A&M University-Kingsville) South Texan newspaper in 1975. In 1998 Presley became the Public Relations Specialist for the Kingsville Independent School District. She was active with many organizations in Kingsville including the A&M Mother's Club and the Athena Department of the Kingsville Woman's Club. Documents and photographs from these groups are included. Presley worked with the Riviera Independent School District in the journalism department from 1999 to 2004. Many of her journalism students took the photographs she later donated to South Texas Archives.

Scope and Content

Records and yearbooks from the A&M Mother's Club fill several boxes in the Kaye Presley Collection. Files from the Athena Department of the Kingsville Woman's Club are included along with photographs of the United Campus Ministries and students, faculty and staff of the Kingsville and Riviera Independent School Districts.
