1. Use of the Archives is available to the general public and to the students, faculty and staff of Texas A&M University-Kingsville from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  During the school term the Richard Street entrance is open during the day.  It is advisable to call and make an appointment to use the Archives when classes are not in regular session.

2. The South Texas Archives are located on the second floor of Baugh Hall.  DO NOT enter other office without specific permission.

3. DO NOT bring backpacks, large purses, notebooks, or pens into the building.  If any of these items are brought, they must be placed in designated lockers.

4. The public area is small, please DO NOT bring friends, and/or nonusers with you.

5. Should you wish to take notes, bring a pencil and some loose single sheets of paper.

6. No food or drinks are allowed in the building.

7. The area is quite restricted.  If you have any questions, ask.  If you have any doubts about an action, do not do it.
